Byron Abt
Founder & CEO
“Make the Broadcast you would want to watch…”
…is the driving force behind Byron’s career in sports broadcasting. His desire to meet the ESPN standard is what prompted the development of the E+Ticker, and eventually sparked the formation of the FYB community.
He seeks to build and improve upon the tools, talent, and community standards that already exist in the world of sports broadcasts. One of his goals is to provide affordable access to developments that will bring the broadcast community closer together and raise the bar of production values across the board.
Garrett Fisher
Art Director & Senior Developer
Garrett has been working in the broadcast industry for 7 years now as a Producer, Associate Producer, and Graphics Operator.
Since Joining Georgia Southern in 2023, Garrett has taken GATA Productions to new heights through his motion graphics and design. He is the master mind behind the E+Ticker, and has been a leader in teaching and developing students interested in graphics operation for live broadcasts.
Bud Poulos
Bud has been tinkering with computer systems, programing, and development since he could remember. His desire to know how everything works has driven him to expand his knowledgebase.
He stays level headed when trying to find a solution and is willing to go the extra mile to solve a problem.
His calm demeanor balances out personalities of the team.

Alex Newman
Alex likes to think outside the box when it comes to developing and finding solutions to problems. Even when there isn’t a problem Alex has come up with a solution.
Alex’s work on GATALens, an application that applies a snapchat face filter to a live video for an in-venue show, has proven to be a game changer for live venue entertainment.
